Help My Unbelief -- YOUR Grace Awakening!

Today, we delve into the heart of what it means to truly experience grace, a gift freely bestowed upon us through faith in Jesus Christ. As Romans 3:24 states, "BEING JUSTIFIED as a gift by HIS GRACE through the redemption which is IN CHRIST JESUS," we're reminded that grace is not earned but given, a manifestation of God's boundless love and mercy.

"2 Corinthians 12:9" eloquently assures us of this, "My grace is sufficient for you, FOR POWER IS PERFECTED IN WEAKNESS." It challenges believers to confront and confess their sins, doubts, and UNBELIEF, reassuring that in doing so, we open ourselves to the endless flow of grace that God promises.

If there is a “Grace Awakening,” when does YOURS happen? When is YOUR Grace Awakening going to occur? Here’s a hint: IT IS IN CHRIST!

"BEING JUSTIFIED as a gift by HIS GRACE through the redemption which is IN CHRIST JESUS," Romans 3:24

I assume you are a BORN AGAIN BELIEVER, and if so, I want you to know you can SEEK AND RECEIVE God’s Grace anytime, anywhere, and all the time. GRACE IS A GIFT FROM GOD.

"As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God." 1 Peter 4:10

Like God Himself, Grace is ETERNAL and always available, on-demand, especially for those who are weak, weakened, lost, and struggling.

"I thank my God always concerning you for THE GRACE OF GOD which was given you IN CHRIST JESUS," 1 Corinthians 1:4

Whenever we humble ourselves and confess our sins TO THE TRUTH, Jesus the King of ALL TRUTH, we stand in His Grace. He loves to GIVE Grace to the HUMBLE because it pleases the Father.

"And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, FOR POWER IS PERFECTED IN WEAKNESS.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that THE POWER OF CHRIST MAY DWELL IN ME." 2 Corinthians 12:9

So, humble and confess, and then ask JESUS to remove ALL SIN, ALL SELF, and ALL UNBELIEF by Grace. HE WILL DO IT!

"which has come to you, just as in all the world also IT IS BEARING FRUIT AND INCREASING, even as it has been doing IN YOU also since the day you heard it and understood THE GRACE OF GOD IN TRUTH;" Colossians 1:6

Ask the God of all Grace and of ALL TRUTH to REVEAL THE POWER OF HIS GRACE in you and through you for His Glory.

"And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it." John 14:13

Jesus loves to make the Father’s LIGHT SHINE. He loves to give GRACE to the Humble through love. Ask Him, ESPECIALLY when you are hurting, lost, and in need of help, which is EVERY DAY!

"For the WORD OF GOD is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must answer. Therefore, since we have A GREAT HIGH PRIEST who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let’s HOLD FIRMLY TO OUR CONFESSION. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with OUR WEAKENESSES, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, YET WITHOUT SIN. Therefore let’s approach the THRONE OF GRACE with CONFIDENCE, so that we may RECEIVE MERCY and FIND GRACE for help at the time of our need." Hebrews 4:12-16

Ask IN FAITH, and YOU WILL RECEIVE. ASK FOR GRACE AND YOU WILL HAVE AN ENCOUNTER WITH HIS GRACE.

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people." Titus 2:11

But beware, UNBELIEF will be crouching at the door to block THE TRUTH. Unbelief stands between you and Grace. He’s given EVERYONE Grace to REMOVE unbelief. Receiving it in faith by believing.

"Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, UNBELIEVING HEART that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another every day, as long as it is still called “today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the DECEITFULNESS OF SIN. For we have become PARTAKERS OF CHRIST if we keep the beginning of our commitment firm until the end, while it is said, “Today if you hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.” For who provoked Him when they had heard? Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with THOSE WHO SINNED, whose dead bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were DISOBEDIENT? And so we see that they WERE NOT ABLE to enter BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF." Hebrews 3:12-19

If you REALLY WANT TO KNOW Grace, ask the King of TRUTH to REMOVE ALL YOUR UNBELIEF! Grace will flow like a Tsunami.

"Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said, “I do believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:24

Humility is the ability to confess ALL TRUTH with the King of TRUTH, especially the truth about the wickedness of our hearts. When we confess we find Grace and Mercy to help us in our time of need, which for me is every moment of every day.

"If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us." 1 John 1:8-9

When we confess the truth about ourselves to our King, and when we confess the truth about our Adam nature and confess our ‘FALLEN’ status (helplessness and hopelessness), His Grace flows–like a river of life.

"yet, with respect to the promise of God, HE DID NOT WAVER IN UNBELIEF but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform." Romans 4:19-20

Grace flows in Humility to REVEAL and ESTABLISH HIS TRUTH.

"After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you." 1 Peter 5:10

Do you BELIEVE? If not, ask God to help you with your unbelief. Ask Him to reveal all your unbelief and promptly remove it. If you confess it, He will remove it. If you don’t know it is there, ask Him to reveal it because He will.

"in whose case THE GOD OF THIS WORLD (SELF/SIN/SATAN) has blinded the minds of the UNBELIEVING so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." 2 Corinthians 4:4

Here is an example of a confession I will make to Jesus several times an hour, sometimes every minute (I am very weak and in desperate need of God’s Grace).

“Without YOU (TRINITY), I am lost forever. Without YOU, Jesus, I have no hope. Without YOU, I can do ABSOLUTELY nothing. YOU know this: YOU KNOW EVERYTHING. YOU know my heart and YOU hear my every prayer. You answer my every prayer too, by Grace! I need more Grace. Search MY HEART and expose all UNBELIEF, DOUBT, and LACK–Disobedience and lawlessness. By YOUR Grace, I fully surrender to YOU. Search me and cleanse me by YOUR BLOOD and YOUR OBEDIENCE. By YOUR Grace, I surrender absolutely all to YOU, especially all the sin and disobedience, all “THE SELF” IN ME. By your Grace, My WILL is to DO YOUR WILL, to Glorify YOU, and I admit, I can’t do it–I just can’t, and I confess I am helpless without YOUR GRACE. That’s why YOU have given me YOUR LIFE, including YOUR BELIEF and YOUR FAITH because I can’t. I humble myself before you and confess I can do nothing to overcome my flesh nature. Without YOU, I can do nothing. I ask you, Jesus, MY LORD and SAVIOR, to REMOVE ALL UNBELIEF and DISOBEDIENCE in me WITH YOUR WORD. I ask you for an unquenchable love, hunger, thirst, and desire for YOUR TRUTH. ESTABLISH YOUR TRUTH ON THE THRONE OF MY HEART, WHERE YOU REIGN SUPREME. YOU are the only one who can do this. I can want it and I can will it and even desire it with all my heart, but I can do NOTHING. I ask for the MIND of CHRIST, YOUR MIND, YOUR WILL, YOUR STRENGTH in exchange for my unbelief. Take all my doubt and lack too. ALL OF IT. I surrender all and pray for YOU ‘to renew my mind, a complete transformation by your Grace!’ JESUS, Destroy all UNBELIEF and lawlessness with the BREATHE OF YOUR MOUTH, WHICH IS TRUTH. Replace all UNBELIEF in me with YOUR LIFE, which IS TRUTH. I surrender everything I have to YOU, especially ALL UNBELIEF. My confession of FAITH is, ‘By Grace, I have YOUR FAITH, and I trust YOU fully that YOU will replace ALL UNBELIEF IN ME with YOUR TRUTH as YOUR LOVE WORKS IN ME and THROUGH ME IN CHRIST.’ Thank you, Jesus!”

Without Jesus, I virtually can do no GOOD thing, and in my strength and wisdom, which is MY UNBELIEF, I will make a total mess of everything.

"And He could not do any miracle there except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He was amazed at their UNBELIEF. And He was going around the villages, teaching." Mark 6:5-6

God was always WITH ME and for me, but because of unbelief, I destroyed every good thing. I have been a CARNAL Christian. I looked to God to bless me. I ignored His commands like the Great Commission and walked in selfishness instead.

"For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen containers, so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body." 2 Corinthians 4:6-10

For many years, I knew I was made in the image of God, but mostly, with my behavior, I imaged and reflected SIN/SELF/SATAN. By His Grace, I am forgiven, and by His Mercy, I have a clean conscience.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

As a Christian, for too many years, I walked in doubt and unbelief, and in my Adam nature, I denied Christ. Like Peter, I wept. I hated my sinful nature, and it ALWAYS defeated me, no matter how hard I tried.

I did not know to look to God’s Grace until I did. In a complete state of brokenness and humility, I begged for Mercy in total desperation, and I received HIS Grace. Once I got to the end of my SELF, He rescued me.

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, WHEN IT IS BROUGHT ABOUT, can accomplish much." James 5:16

When I had enough of my SELF, completely crushed and destroyed, I finally surrendered. I was lost and helpless in UNBELIEF. Today, I surrender all of MYSELF ALL THE TIME. I freely admit my weaknesses because I am absolutely convinced that, WITHOUT GOD, I am doomed.

"I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." John 15:5
