Seek the Holy Spirit of Truth

To become fully obedient and submitted to Jesus, the people currently stuck in types one and two must ask the Holy Spirit to take them through a radical transformation of heart and mindset, recognizing the superficiality of their faith and embracing genuine repentance and full surrender to Christ.

"After Jesus called the crowd to Him, He said to them, “Hear and understand. It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man... Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” Matthew 15:10-11, 14

The Holy Spirit transformation process requires humility, self-denial, and a deepening reliance on the power of God's Grace to transform your life.

"Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You. But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.” Matthew 16:22-23

For professional clergy and pastors stuck in Christian Types One, Two, and Three, your lack of true repentance and surrender is having a disastrous impact on the Body of Christ, leading many into spiritual stagnation, hypocrisy, and harm to those under your care.

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind; and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away. So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 13:47-50

It is imperative for every teacher to undergo a thorough examination of the heart, every day seeking true repentance and surrender to Christ, and allowing His Grace to lead us into deep transformation that enables us to walk in authentic and impactful ministry.

"At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And He called a child to Himself and set him before them, and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me; but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea." Matthew 18:1-6

Our Only Foundation is JESUS CHRIST

A church full of Type Four Christians would be a radiant expression of God's love and amazing Grace, characterized by humility, unity, and selflessness. We desperately need pastors and teachers to humble themselves, walk away from the “One-Man Show” and start washing feet again (making disciples).

“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. Matthew 12:33-34

An entire church built up by Type Four Christians would exhibit a deep intimacy with God, constantly yielding to His will and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our lives. Our worship would be genuine, constant, consistent, and heartfelt, reflecting a profound understanding of God's Grace and a desire to glorify Him in all we do.

"The good man brings out of his good treasure what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil." Matthew 12:35

In such a Type Four church, there would be a culture of love and acceptance, where each member is valued and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ. Fellowship would be marked by authentic relationships, mutual support, and a commitment to accountability and discipleship. Type Four Christians would actively engage in serving others, both within the church and in the community, demonstrating Christ's love through acts of compassion and justice.

"But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment." Matthew 12:36

The impact of a church full of Type Four Christians would be off the charts significant. Can you imagine the miracles? Jesus can!

Let’s humble ourselves and become obedient so we can become a powerful witness to the transformative power of THE GOSPEL OF GRACE, drawing others to Christ through our radical testimony of love and generosity. Our ministries will be marked by effectiveness and fruitfulness, as they are led by the Holy Spirit and empowered by God’s Grace to fulfill Jesus mission and purposes.

"Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field." Matthew 13:24

We must strive for such a Type Four church because it reflects God's intended design for His people. Jesus prayed for unity among believers, knowing that it would be a powerful testimony to the world (John 17:21). A church full of Type Four Christians embodies this unity, reflecting the love and Grace of God to a broken and divided world.

Type Four Christians must help Type One, Two, and Three believers surrender fully to Jesus Christ's transformation by prayer AND exemplifying a life surrendered and fully obedient to God. Believe and act upon your belief. Type Four Christians are equipped to mentor and disciple others, sharing their own journey of faith and guiding God’s people (Types One, Two, and Three) toward deeper intimacy with God.

"But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares? And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves *said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up? But he *said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.’" Matthew 13:24-30

Through prayer, encouragement, and practical support, surrendered to the Holy Spirit Type Four Christians can walk alongside our fellow believers, WASHING THEIR FEET, in humility helping them overcome obstacles and grow in their relationship with Christ.

"Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear." Matthew 13:36-42

A church full of Type Four Christians will create a culture within the church that prioritizes humility, authenticity, and dependence on God's Grace, creating an environment conducive to spiritual growth and authentic transformation for all believers. Believers to FOLLOWERS.

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God." 1 John 4:7

The King of Righteousness Says - Love One Another

We are called to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. More importantly, we are called to love our enemies.

“But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,” Luke 6:27

Jesus came to teach us how and why we should love one another, especially our enemies.

"For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ." Philippians 3:20

Our citizenship is in Heaven. Jesus is the King of Righteousness and He is making everything RIGHT-everything, if we let Him that is.

"For by Grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

We are SAVED by Grace and all our debts are paid in full. Jesus paid every debt, and subsequently those who are IN CHRIST, all our debts have been wiped out. We owe nothing and we are owed nothing except a debt of LOVE to and from one another to glorify our Father in Heaven.

"I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it." Matthew 16:18

Build your life upon the ROCK OF TRUTH. Remember, Peter was rebuked by Jesus before being transformed by Him. Like Peter we are saved by Grace, working through love by FAITH, His Faith. We owe everything to Jesus. He has freely given us all things, and He has asked us to free share all things.

"If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother." Matthew 18:15

If you or I have something against your brother, or your brother has something against us, by all means, go to him or her and offer forgiveness. Ask for and give forgiveness, always.

"But He answered and said, 'It is written, 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'' Matthew 4:4

What Did Jesus Do?

When tempted by the devil Jesus did not get mad, angry, offended, or bent out of shape. Instead, Jesus spoke the truth, the WORD of GOD. Jesus stood upon the ROCK, His relationship with the Father.

"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." James 4:7

When tempted by the devil Jesus did not banish or reject him or even fight him. Jesus did not fear him and did not hide from him. Nothing changed for Jesus, as the devil attempted to engage, distort, and deceive, Jesus stood on THE WORD, His foundation. Satan left on his own.

"And He has said to me, 'My Grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.' Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

What a Great Honor to suffer with Jesus in our weaknesses on behalf of the body of Christ! Seriously, what an honor it is to love our enemies for the glory of God.

Resist the devil and he will flee. Resist by focusing on THE WORD and God’s Grace alone. Humble yourself and PRAISE GOD. Thank Him for every trial, tribulation, and affliction. Thank Him for the COMFORT of THE HOLY SPIRIT in the trials. Thank Him for teaching in the trials. Thank Him for giving you the COMFORTER to COMFORT others with the same exact COMFORT you’ve received.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

An Honor to Suffer for Christ

What a great honor it is to be found worthy of suffering for Christ. When we build our lives upon Jesus Christ, we not only establish an unshakable foundation, but we also gain the greatest source of strength and resilience in the entire universe. Followers of Jesus will be tested. What will Jesus find in you when He comes?

"For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake," Philippians 1:29

Just as a house built on a solid foundation can withstand storms, our lives, when built upon Jesus, we too can endure the challenges and adversities of life. Jesus as our foundation provides us with an extraordinary sense of awe, wonder, wisdom, favor, comfort, security, and peace as He endures suffering with us—because He’s in us, and we are IN HIM.

"For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of Grace, so that we may receive mercy and find Grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:15-16

Building our lives upon Jesus brings peace, joy, and resilience. This means that, even in the face of EXTREME difficulties, our relationship with Jesus grows while giving us profound inner peace and strength that shocks the world around us—we are His living testimony of the Father’s radical love.

"The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all." 2 Corinthians 13:14

Building our lives upon Jesus involves living out His teachings daily by His Grace. This includes loving one another, forgiving those who wrong us, and seeking His guidance in all aspects of our life minute by minute.

"For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son," Colossians 1:13

His Faith and Faithfulness underscores our life-changing potential of developing a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus. We humble ourselves and He lifts us up.

"So the churches were being strengthened in the faith, and were increasing in number daily." Acts 16:5

This is not a passive relationship but an active one that involves continuing prayer, soaking in His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers daily.

"He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward." Matthew 10:41

His love and Grace is designed to empower us to overcome ALL challenges, align our lives with God’s will, and experience His profound victories as He continues to transform all of us into the image and likeness of our Father.

"for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Philippians 2:13

Adversity highlights the significance of God's Grace in our lives. Through Jesus, we are saved by Grace and transformed into His likeness all for the Glory of God. His transformation allows us to live out Jesus' teachings and reflect His love to others and the world.

"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also." Matthew 5:38-39
