Jesus Will Return for His Bride, the Church

Jesus Christ is the ultimate Kinsman Redeemer for His Church, mirroring the role Boaz played for Ruth in the biblical narrative. Like Boaz, who restored Ruth's fortunes and secured her future through marriage, Jesus redeems His GENTILE BRIDE— the Church — offering hope, restoration, and eternal life. This act of redemption is not just a mere transaction but a profound demonstration of divine love and commitment.

Jesus is the only KINSMAN REDEEMER, as Boaz was Ruth's kinsman redeemer. Boaz stood up to the plate and restored Ruth, giving her hope and life. Boaz is a type and shadow of Jesus, and Jesus is the Kinsman Redeemer of the GENTILE BRIDE, His Church.

Ruth 2:20 "Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, “May he be blessed of the Lord who has not withdrawn his kindness to the living and to the dead.” Again, Naomi said to her, “The man is our relative; he is one of our closest relatives.”

In ancient Jewish tradition, the role of the Kinsman Redeemer is deeply embedded within the societal and familial structures, providing a framework of redemption, justice, and restoration.

Philippians 3:20 "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;"

The Redeemer, known as Go'el in Hebrew, was responsible for redeeming a relative from financial hardship or slavery, securing a family’s inheritance by redeeming land, and ensuring the family line continued through levirate marriage.

Ruth 4:6-8 "The closest relative said, “I cannot redeem it for myself, because I would jeopardize my own inheritance. Redeem it for yourself; you may have my right of redemption, for I cannot redeem it.” Now this was the custom in former times in Israel concerning the redemption and the exchange of land to confirm any matter: a man removed his sandal and gave it to another; and this was the manner of attestation in Israel. So the closest relative said to Boaz, “Buy it for yourself.” And he removed his sandal."

Jesus as Our Kinsman Redeemer - The Redemption Through GRACE

In a broader spiritual context, Jesus embodies the ultimate Kinsman Redeemer. Like Boaz, who acted to restore Ruth’s status within the community and secure her future, Jesus extends His hand of redemption to ALL JEWS AND GENTILES. This redemption transcends cultural, historical, and national boundaries, offering a new covenant of GRACE that is both inclusive and transformative.

1 Peter 1:19-19 "knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ."

Boaz redeemed Ruth by marrying her, a symbolic act of restoring her dignity and securing her future. Similarly, Jesus redeems BELIEVERS through His sacrificial death and resurrection, not with earthly currency but with His divine life, setting us free from the bondage of sin and death.

Romans 8:18 "and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us."

Boaz’s actions ensured Ruth became part of HIS FAMILY, giving her legal rights and protection. Likewise, Jesus restores BELIEVERS to a right relationship with God, making us co-heirs with Him and granting us an eternal inheritance that cannot perish.

Matthew 6:31-33 "Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Just as Boaz provided for Ruth’s needs, ensuring her safety and well-being, Jesus PROMISES to meet the needs of HIS BRIDE, offering them His protection and provision as we navigate life's challenges.

Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill."

Boaz fulfilled the legal requirements necessary for redeeming Ruth, mirroring the law's fulfillment. Jesus, through His life and teachings, not only fulfilled the law but embodied it, offering Himself as the perfect, once-for-all sacrifice that the law could only point towards but not itself realize.

John 10:28-29 "and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand."

Jesus and the GENTILE BRIDE, the Church

The narrative of Jesus as the Kinsman Redeemer beautifully illustrates the inclusivity of His GRACE, reaching out to both Jews and Gentiles. This universal redemption reflects a profound GRACE that invites all into a transformative relationship with Him. The Church, represented as the GENTILE BRIDE of Christ, encompasses a diverse body of BELIEVERS who, through Jesus’ redemptive GRACE, are brought into a covenant relationship with God.

The ancient role of the Kinsman Redeemer, vividly depicted in the story of Boaz and Ruth, prefigures the comprehensive redemption accomplished by Jesus Christ. He stands as a Redeemer who not only fulfills the expectations of the law but expands them, offering GRACE and LIFE. As the BRIDE anticipates the APPEARING of Christ, we do so with the assurance that He has secured our redemption fully through His GRACE. This divine act of redemption transforms the traditional role of the kinsman redeemer, presenting a living hope and an eternal inheritance to all who embrace His GRACE.

Jesus is FAITH, He is THE Faith, He is our FAITHFULNESS

Jesus embodies the ultimate expression of faith and faithfulness. He is the epitome of faith, not only demonstrating it but also embodying it in His very nature. He is MY FAITH, how bout you?

Hebrews 12:2 "Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter OF FAITH. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Jesus' life and ministry perfectly fulfilled the Law, meeting every divine requirement not through adherence to legalistic mandates but through a life that perfectly aligned with the Father’s will.

Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."

This fulfillment was not for His benefit but for humanity's, particularly the GENTILE BRIDE—His Church.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass."

Jesus, as the only one who could satisfy God’s justice, took upon Himself the wrath and judgment meant for sinners, thus satisfying divine justice fully.

1 John 2:2 "He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."

In His act, Jesus established THE new covenant marked by GRACE, replacing the old covenant of the law. This new covenant offers salvation and eternal life as gifts of GRACE, accessible not through human effort but through faith in Jesus alone. HE DID IT ALL BY GRACE

Hebrews 10:23-25 "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who PROMISED is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near."

THE Rapture, then, is the consummation of GOD’S GRACE working through LOVE. It represents the ultimate deliverance—akin to the ancient practice of the Kinsman Redeemer, who would step in to rescue and restore a relative from certain hardship.

Luke 22:20 "And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, 'This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.'"

Just as Boaz redeemed Ruth and restored her life, so too does Jesus redeem and will ultimately restore HIS BRIDE beginning at THE Rapture. You don’t want to miss it.

Ephesians 2:4-5 "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by GRACE you have been saved."

This event is not based on the Bride's merit but is a manifestation of Jesus’ faithful PROMISE, a divine act of HIS GRACE ensuring that His Bride escapes the impending judgment and wrath destined for the world and those who loved the darkness while rejecting Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 4:13:18 "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead IN CHRIST will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words."

Thus, THE Rapture reflects the character of God—full of GRACE and TRUTH, a perfect expression of His nature through Jesus Christ. It is the fulfillment of the PROMISE that those who are IN CHRIST will not face condemnation but will be preserved through His faithfulness. This mirrors the GRACE of God, which is not only a characteristic of His identity but also the medium through which He relates to His followers, enveloping them in the fullness of His love and fidelity.

The PROMISE of Jesus is unwavering and resolute, epitomized by His faithfulness. As the ultimate expression of divine reliability, Jesus embodies the assurance that every PROMISE made by God finds its affirmation in Him. In this truth, we find the foundation for our hope and the guarantee of our future—secured not by our merit but by His GRACE. Jesus’ commitment to His BRIDE is not only a pledge of protection but a proclamation of His unchanging nature.

2 Timothy 2:13 "If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself."

In the divine economy of GRACE, Jesus' response to our deepest yearnings is consistently "Yes, and Amen." This affirmation extends beyond mere agreement; it is an active engagement, a call to BELIEVERS to remain vigilant, continuously seeking His presence and His imminent appearing. This active waiting is not passive but a dynamic state of readiness, where we await our removal from a world marred by corruption and pain, anticipating our ultimate reunion with Him on the earth post-tribulation.

2 Corinthians 1:20 "For as many as are the PROMISES of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us."

Jesus stands as our steadfast hope, the anchor of our souls both now and in the tumultuous times to come as we await His appearance. By His PROMISE, we live "in and from the heart of God," a reality made possible by His GRACE. His assurance of return for His Bride before the judgment day underscores His fidelity—not just to us but to His covenant people throughout the generations.

Revelation 22:20 "He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus."

The Holy Spirit, PROMISED by Jesus, sustains us until His return. This Comforter, the Spirit of TRUTH, keeps us connected to the truth of Jesus’ teachings and the reality of His continued presence. We are not left as orphans but are continually guided and comforted by His Spirit, reaffirming our status as children of God, heirs to His Kingdom.

John 14:15-18 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."

In Christ, we find not only salvation but a transformation that transcends the chaos of this world. The GRACE that redeems us is the same GRACE that empowers us to overcome the world's disorder and rebellion as we wait His appearing. As the GENTILE BRIDE, once distant from the covenants of PROMISE, we have been brought near by the blood of Christ, fully integrated into the family of God, destined to be caught up with Him in the air FOR ALL ETERNITY.

Ephesians 2:11-13 "Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called ‘Uncircumcision’ by the so-called ‘Circumcision,’ which is performed in the flesh by human hands—remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of PROMISE, having no hope and without God in the world. But now IN CHRIST Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ."

Thus, we hold fast to the PROMISE of THE Rapture—a glorious culmination of God's GRACE, a divine summons for His Bride to join Him FOREVER. This miraculous event prefaces His Second Coming when He will reign and rule the Earth WITH HIM for a millennium. In these divine acts, we see the full measure of God’s GRACE and TRUTH, a vivid manifestation of His heart toward us: Jesus is not only our Faith; He is the very embodiment of faithfulness and the fulfillment of every divine PROMISE.
