Continued from THE Promise of Jesus Christ PART 1....
HIS APPEARING is Unwavering and Resolute
We hold fast to the PROMISE of HIS Rapture—a glorious culmination of God's GRACE, a divine summons for His Bride to join Him in the air to be received IN HIS PRESENCE forever. This miraculous event prefaces His Second Coming when we will join Him to reign and rule the Earth for millennia.
John 1:14, 16 "And the Word became flesh, AND DWELT AMOUNG US, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH... For of His fullness we have all received, and GRACE UPON GRACE."
In Jesus' DIVINE PROMISES, specifically, His appearing and His subsequent Second Coming, we see the full measure of God’s GRACE IN TRUTH, a vivid manifestation of His heart toward us: Jesus is not only our Faith; He is the very embodiment of faithfulness and the fulfillment of every DIVINE PROMISE.
Ephesians 2:1-10 "And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. BUT GOD, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by GRACE you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places IN CHRIST Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His GRACE in kindness toward us IN CHRIST Jesus. For by GRACE you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created IN CHRIST Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."
Jesus is GOD IN THE FLESH, and He came to earth, died as the perfect sacrificial Lamb, was resurrected by the Father and GLORIFIED after justifying us all by removing sin, and is now seated on the Throne of GRACE reigning and ruling over Heaven and Earth, waiting for the Father's signal for the time of Harpazo, THE Rapture of the GENTILE BRIDE, His Church. WE EAGERLY AWAIT HIS APPEARING.
Ephesians 2:12-22 "remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of PROMISE, having no hope and without God in the world. BUT NOW IN CHRIST JESUS you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. FOR HE HIMSELF IS OUR PEACE, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that IN HIMSELF HE might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near; for THROUGH HIM we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, CHRIST JESUS HIMSELF being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together INTO A DWELLING OF GOD IN THE SPIRIT."
According to the Apostle Paul, we are the Temple of God, His eternal dwelling place. We? Who is "we"? We speak of THE Church, the GENTILE BRIDE of Christ, who is the BRIDE of the Lamb of God. To God, there are only two types of people: BELIEVERS and NON-BELIEVER. SO BELIEVE!
Colossians 4:3 "praying at the same time for us as well, that GOD WILL OPEN UP TO US A DOOR FOR THE WORD, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak."
The Gentile virgin, you and me, THE BELIEVER, is called to wait for the appearance of the Bridegroom. Full of GRACE and TRUTH, the prepared virgins are eagerly waiting for the sudden appearance of the Bridegroom.
Acts 13:23 "From the descendants of this man, according to PROMISE, God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus,"
We Gentiles are called to BELIEVE, be alert, stay awake, and be found doing the Father's business by Jesus when He appears with His REWARD. What is the Father's business? Jesus called it the Great Commission, calling us to join Him in making disciples of the nations and teaching them EVERYTHING that Jesus taught and commanded.
Isaiah 46:9-10 "Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;"
Knowing THE Rapture is imminent, we are energized by HIS FAITHFULNESS and HIS JOY to be about OUR Father's business. As we are about "OUR" Father's business, we are being transformed by GRACE from the inside out. What are we being transformed into? The image of Christ!
Hebrews 10:19-22 "Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, BY A NEW AND LIVING WAY which HE INAUGURATED FOR US THROUGH THE VIEL, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."
We love Jesus because He first loved us. We couldn't know what LOVE IS until Jesus FIRST loved us. We are made to be loved and to love Him back and to love each other as He loves us–THIS PLEASES THE FATHER!
Hebrews 9:15 "For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN CALLED MAY RECEIVE THE PROMISE of the eternal inheritance."
By GRACE, we can stand firm against any storm here on earth. As citizens of Heaven, Jesus' Ambassadors of GRACE, we are empowered to REST IN HIM and eagerly await HIS PROMISED RAPTURE. Remember, a good leader will recall His Ambassadors home before the start of a war. The war on earth, where Jesus DESTROYS and IMPRISONS ALL EVIL is coming, and the Ambassadors are on the alert, prepared to return home without notice, in the twinkling of an eye.
Hebrews 10:23-25 "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for HE WHO PROMISED IS FAITHFUL; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you SEE THE DAY DRAWING NEAR."
As we REST, we TRUST HIS FAITHFULNESS. As we TRUST HIM, WE SERVE HIM and His LIGHT SHINES THROUGH US. We SERVE HIM by letting HIS LIGHT SHINE THROUGH US BY GRACE as a witness of HIS LOVE and FAITHFULNESS.
Ephesians 2:11-16 "Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Uncircumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands— remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of PROMISE, having no hope and without God in the world. BUT NOW IN CHRIST JESUS you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. FOR HE HIMSELF IS OUR PEACE, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity."
The Bible declares, from Genesis to Revelation, that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit love Israel absolutely. This love is absolute and faithful, which is what FAITHFULNESS IS BUILT UPON.
2 Peter 3:5-9 "For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His PROMISE, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."
God has always wanted HIS SAINTS to Possess the whole earth and reign over all the nations of the world. Jesus came to show us how to lead as selfless, humble servants leaders who are wholeheartedly committed to establishing TRUTH by GRACE. The first will be last, and the last will be first.
2 Peter 3:10-12 "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and HASTENING THE COMING OF THE DAY OF GOD, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!"
Jesus, as the Head of the Church, washed His follower’s feet. Jesus denied Himself, picked up His cross, and obeyed our Father. As such, Jesus became our Kinsman Redeemer, the Gentile's Bridegroom--ALL BY GRACE. Now, we eagerly await His appearing to take us to be with Him where He is.
2 Peter 3:17-18 "You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the GRACE and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen."
God wants HIS SAINTS, the SAINTS of the MOST HIGH GOD, THE LORD, to possess the land and to reign and to rule with King Jesus, to reign and rule in love, through love, and for love (His Second Coming WITH THE SAINTS). But He must first CLEANSE THE EARTH OF ALL EVIL. While the earth is being cleansed by FIRE, we are with KING JESUS as He trains us to reign. This reign will be without evil, darkness, rebellion, or sin. We, the SAINTS, His BRIDE, will co-reign and co-rule with HIM, reigning and ruling God's Nations, God's way.
Daniel 7:18 "But the saints of the Highest One will receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, for all ages to come.’"
In the past, God made a PROMISE of GRACE for the future, to be enjoyed and experienced now, in the present, as we will enjoy it forever.
2 Peter 3:13 "But according to His PROMISE we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells."
Jesus is returning for His Bride and will take Her up from the earth to meet Him in the air, THE Rapture. Jesus PROMISEd to return and to take HIS BRIDE, the Church, to Himself. Where Jesus is, the Bride will be, forever.
John 14:3 "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also."
The Marriage of the Lamb is all for the sake of God's name, to glorify His name! THE Rapture is all for GOD’S GLORY!
John 14:18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."
The Essential List of the Promises of Jesus Christ
THE Rapture: The Culmination of Promise
THE Rapture stands as the paramount PROMISE Jesus extends to His GENTILE BRIDE, signifying not just an event but a divine intervention. Through THE Rapture, Jesus will recall, receive, and restore His Church, shielding her from the global outpouring of divine wrath, thus fulfilling His role as the faithful redeemer and protector.
2 Timothy 2:13 "If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself."
Eternal Life: The Gift of Righteousness
Eternal life, offered through Jesus's sacrifice, is a testament to the boundless GRACE bestowed upon us. This PROMISE transforms us, setting us apart as holy and righteous, not through our deeds but through the sanctifying blood of Christ, our eternal High Priest. This GRACE invites us to embrace a life that mirrors His—denying self, bearing crosses, and shining His light all for the glory of God, our Father.
Matthew 16:24-27 "Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and FOLLOW ME. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life FOR MY SAKE will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every man according to his deeds.'"
Scripture reveals the profound depth of God’s GRACE, extended through Jesus Christ to all BELIEVERS, including us, HIS GENTILE BRIDE. This GRACE is not merely a passive gift but an active and transformative force that causes a radical reorientation of our life.
John 10:10-11, 16 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I CAME that they may have life, and have it abundantly. ‘I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep... I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.'"
Jesus calls His followers to a life of radical self-denial and cross-bearing. This challenge is a GRACE-filled invitation to abandon the temporal pursuits of this world for the eternal riches of God's Kingdom. It underscores the profound truth that true life—eternal and abundant—is found not in self-preservation but in GRACE ALONE.
This path of discipleship is marked by a PROMISE of divine justice and reward, where Jesus will personally repay each according to their deeds, highlighting the GRACE that accounts for human action with divine recompense.
Colossians 1:16 "For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created THROUGH HIM and FOR HIM."
Acceptance: Welcomed into the Beloved
In Christ, we find a profound acceptance, an invitation to ascend with Him when He returns. This acceptance is not merely an invitation; it is a transformation, moving us from the domain of darkness into His marvelous light, where we stand holy and blameless in His sight—fully embraced IN THE BELOVED.
Colossians 1:13 "For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,"
Being fully accepted by God in the Beloved—His Son, Jesus Christ—is a profound truth that encapsulates the essence of the Gospel and the very heart of God's GRACE. This acceptance is not based on human merit or effort but is a gift flowing directly from God's heart through Jesus Christ. Scripture provides a deep insight into this divine acceptance:
John 6:37 "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out."
Believers are rescued from the "domain of darkness"—a realm characterized by sin, despair, and separation from God—and are transferred into the kingdom of His beloved Son. This transfer is not just a change in status but a relocation into a new realm of existence where Jesus reigns. In this Kingdom, BELIEVERS are not only subjects but cherished children who are fully accepted and deeply loved. The phrase "His beloved Son" underscores that this Kingdom is one of belovedness; thus, to be IN CHRIST is to share in His beloved status.
Jesus' words in this verse reinforce the security and permanence of the acceptance found IN HIM. He states unequivocally that all who come to Him will not be cast out. This PROMISE highlights the open-hearted invitation of Jesus to all humanity, assuring that no one who seeks Him will be rejected. It reflects the Father's will that Jesus lose none of those given to Him, emphasizing the inclusivity and certainty of acceptance IN CHRIST. This acceptance is irrespective of past failures, present struggles, or future missteps; it is a steadfast assurance rooted in divine commitment.
Reward: Inheritance with Christ
At THE Rapture, our Savior comes not only to reclaim but also to REWARD. Jesus' PROMISEs culminate in this act of divine reunion, where rewards await those who have lived faithfully. Our deeds on earth, inspired by His Spirit, yield eternal dividends, reflecting the GRACE through which we serve.
Hebrews 10:35-36 "Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has A GREAT REWARD. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was PROMISED."
THE Rapture represents a pivotal moment of divine reunion, where Jesus Christ REAPPEARS not merely as a Redeemer but also as a REWARDER. For those who have aligned their earthly walk with His divine will, this event marks the culmination of faithfulness—a moment when the intangible becomes tangible.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, every act of service, sacrifice, and love becomes a seed that blooms into eternal dividends at Jesus’ return. HIS REWARD reflects a profound principle of GRACE: what we do in His name echoes into eternity, transcending the temporal confines of our earthly existence.
Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive THE REWARD OF THE INHERITANCE. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve."
In the economy of God's Kingdom, every effort invested for Jesus’ sake—whether in secret or in public—is noted and rewarded by God Himself. Colossians 3:23 emphasizes that our labor, when done unto the Lord and not for human accolades, secures for us an inheritance that far surpasses any earthly recompense. This inheritance is not of perishable goods but of imperishable quality, reflecting the eternal nature of the rewards that await us in Jesus’ eternal Kingdom.
Mark 10:28-31 "Peter began to say to Him, ‘Behold, we have left everything and followed You.’ Jesus said, ‘Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, but that he will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last, first.’”
The paradox of the Kingdom is no longer a paradox, it has become FACT. Those who relinquish earthly ties and treasures for the sake of the Gospel will gain manifold more IN THIS LIFE, and in the age to come, eternal life. Scripture underscores that our sacrifices for Christ are never in vain; they are investments yielding exponential returns in both the present and the eternal realm FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. This PROMISE vividly illustrates GOD’S GRACE, as HE transforms apparent losses into profound eternal gains.
2 John 1:8 "Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive A FULL REWARD."
The admonition to watch ourselves and not lose what we have accomplished serves as a sobering reminder of the need for vigilance. In the journey of faith, it is crucial to safeguard HIS TRUTH and HIS REWARD through GRACE. This vigilance ensures that we remain in the fullness of God’s PROMISES, fully receiving the reward prepared for us.
1 Corinthians 3:8-15 "Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. According to the GRACE of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire."
Our works will be tested by fire at the end of the age, which could be tomorrow, LITERALLY. This testing isn't for condemnation but for the revelation of the quality of each one's labor in God's field. Those whose works withstand this divine test will receive their reward, affirming that our service to Christ, built on the foundation of His GRACE and TRUTH, holds eternal value. Jesus PROMISES us that HIS FRUIT WILL REMAIN THROUGH THE FIRE.
John 4:36 "Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together."
Let’s look to our collective joy found in the spiritual harvest, where both sower and reaper rejoice together. This communal aspect of the reward highlights that our labor IN CHRIST is not solitary but shared among the community of BELIEVERS, each contributing to the Kingdom’s expansion, and each sharing in the joyous fruits of HIS eternal life.
