God’s New Humanity

We, those born from above, are GOD-PEOPLE. We are God’s people, His children, His family.

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;" 1 Peter 2:9

We are BORN of God, born from ABOVE, as the people of GOD.

"who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." John 1:13

Born from above, we are the people of God’s Love–made righteous by Jesus’ ONE act of humility, surrender, and obedience. The Grace People, the people born of God’s Grace, created for His Glory.

"For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son," Colossians 1:13

We are born from above for the GLORY OF GOD. As His children, God’s family, we created for the Glory of God. God intends for the goodness of His Glory to shine through us, those who are Born from Above.

"for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Philippians 2:13

Jesus made us RIGHTEOUS. That means He made everything RIGHT. Jesus makes everything RIGHT. Jesus, as our Lord, Savior, and Master, is the only one that can make us right, and He did.

"After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you." 1 Peter 5:10

Jesus has justified us, sanctified us, and now, by Grace, He is GLORIFYING US, all for the glory of His Father. Jesus has redeemed us and restored us. As we SHINE God’s LIGHT, our Father and Jesus are Glorified. All by Grace, a free gift of God’s love. WOW!

"And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified." Romans 8:30

Jesus is glorifying us so that we can live eternally in the presence of God, our Father. God has redeemed us so we can always be with Him, as He always intended.

"And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:18

God has sent us out as His Ambassadors of Grace to reconcile the world to Himself. As His Ambassadors, He empowers us as partakers of His DIVINE NATURE. We partake of His Diving Nature to glorify the Father.

"namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:19-20

God, our Father, is marching all of creation toward the final event of this age. We are marching toward COMPLETE and FINAL GLORIFICATION–all by Grace.

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." James 1:2-4

We are His children, children of God, children of LIGHT, children of LOVE. He wants our LIGHT, which is HIS LIFE, to SHINE IN US AND THROUGH US.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14

As we confess our sins and weaknesses, Jesus faithfully makes everything right (righteous). Jesus takes our failures (death) and gives us His triumphs (life) so that, as children of God, we too can create, shine, and bring glory to our Father!

"By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible." Hebrews 11:3

As we confess our sins and replace/exchange our weaknesses with God’s Grace, love, favor, wisdom, and power, He defeats the devil's works. Love, especially love for our enemies, defeats the devil every time–drops him dead. Loving our enemies puts our enemies under our feet, as our footstool. So, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES!

"But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:20-21

Jesus, as a gift of His love, has given us new minds. Through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit working through the love of God, we are being conformed and transformed into God's image. By Grace, Jesus has given us the MIND OF CHRIST.

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2

Jesus is the HEAD OF THE BODY of CHRIST. We are individual members of His BODY. Jesus is the HEAD; we are living stones built upon Jesus, the cornerstone.

"For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body." Ephesians 5:23

As living stones, we are the New Creation, the New Humanity, God's saved and redeemed children, and His lost family found. Jesus is the firstborn of the New Humanity. The firstborn of many.

"He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything." Colossians 1:18

In the New Humanity, the New Wineskins, there is no self–only Christ through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. In the new humanity, we have given up SELF.

We have denied ourselves, picked up our cross, and DIED WITH JESUS. If we die with Him, we live with Him. We are resurrected IN HIM–Let your LIGHT SHINE.

"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." James 4:7

IN CHRIST, there is no sin, self, or death. All forms of SELF are forms of DEATH. Those BORN AGAIN are born from the dead and alive IN CHRIST for the first time. AWAKENED BY GRACE. From the natural to the supernatural.

"And He summoned the crowd with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it." Mark 8:34-35

Jesus is our MASTER POTTER, and we are the soft clay–Spiritual Formation

Heaven is the realm where we are given the power to fulfill God’s will in the earth. By the Blood of Jesus Christ, we have been given access to the Father, to the Throne of Grace. We are called to approach the Throne of Grace BOLDLY.

"For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:15-16

Was the Apostle Peter perfect? Was the Apostle Paul? Did either one of them get everything RIGHT? The answer to all these questions is NO! Only Jesus is PERFECT, and His Grace is perfecting us in love. We are called, equipped, and empowered to LOVE OUR ENEMIES. We are not called to point out their faults and flaws.

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Romans 8:37

Jesus equips us to MAKE DISCIPLES. We lay down our lives and take up His Cross. By His Grace, we can deny ourselves and die to ourselves. By His Grace, God’s LIGHT SHINES out of our darkness, transforming us from the inside out. He does this so we can LOVE OUR ENEMIES and let our LIGHT SHINE. This glorifies God.

"For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6

God created the New Humanity through Jesus, the Head of His Body. Jesus, at the Throne of God’s Grace, is ruling and reigning, providing everything we would ever need by His Grace. He’s our King Jesus, and He’s ruling and reigning from God’s Throne of Grace, dispensing Grace as we request.

"you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 2:5

Jesus has given us His DIVINE NATURE so that we can humble ourselves, love our enemies, and let His LIGHT SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS.

"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6-7

We receive His gift of Salvation so that God gets the GLORY. It is His LIFE, HIS GIFT, and HIS SALVATION. So, God gets the glory.

"But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift." Ephesians 4:7

Jesus has equipped us to make disciples of Christ, who make disciples of Christ, all for the Glory of the Father.

"For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ... so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 5:17, 21

God is raising a PEOPLE of HIS LOVE, His family, His children. Our Father uses trials, tribulations, and afflictions to perfect us in His love. We are the God-created People, the PEOPLE OF GOD.
