Colossians 1:13 “He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.”
Welcome to Jesus’ Snakeless Kingdom
In Eden, the serpent slithered IN and deceived humanity using the “SELF.” Ever since, the world has been poisoned with SELF - sin, pride, rebellion, and death. But IN Jesus, the one who laid down “self,” and died to “self,” the King of Heaven and Earth– a new Kingdom has come forth—a Snakeless Kingdom, ruled not by ENEMIES driven by insecurities and lack, but by love, truth, righteousness, and peace in the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
The Kingdom of God is not like the kingdoms of this world. It is entirely upside down—or rather, right side up. It is spiritual, breathtaking, radiant, otherworldly, supernatural, and soaked in the Grace of God. In the Kingdom of God, the poor are rich, the broken are whole, the weak are strong, and the last are first. In this Kingdom, Jesus is King—and He reigns through love, truth, and radical Grace.
Matthew 5:19-20 “Whoever keeps and teaches [the commandments], he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven… unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
This is not a Kingdom with shadows. It is a Snakeless Kingdom because the serpent of old—Satan, the father of lies (John 8:44)—IS DONE and cast out. His deception, religion, manipulation, and fear have no place here. The Kingdom of God is a Kingdom where truth reigns, where the people of God are born again by the Spirit, filled with power, and governed by love.
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.”
It is a Kingdom where the “one another’s” are not suggestions—they are the supernatural outflow of being filled with Christ.
What Is the Kingdom of God?
The Kingdom of God is God’s reign through God’s Son by God’s Spirit in God’s people. It is the restoration of Heaven’s authority on Earth, Grace as it was in Eden before the fall. Through the Father, Jesus came preaching it (Luke 4:43), demonstrating it (Matthew 12:28), and then inaugurating it through His death and resurrection.
Jesus said:
Matthew 4:17 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
And,
John 3:3 “Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Jesus’s Kingdom is spiritual, eternal, and unshakable (Hebrews 12:28). It is not a matter of talk, but of power (1 Corinthians 4:20). It’s not about rituals, rules, or religious systems—it’s about righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).
Matthew 10:7 “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’”
The Kingdom of God Is a Person—Jesus Is the King
To understand the Kingdom, you must know the King. Jesus is not only Savior—He is Lord, Master, and King. His Kingdom is not a democracy. It is a Theocracy of Love. He reigns in the hearts of those who have surrendered to Him and received the Holy Spirit. Jesus transforms those He knows.
Revelation 11:15 “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”
When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He said:
Matthew 6:10 “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
The Kingdom’s Culture - Love ONE ANOTHER
If Jesus is King, and we are citizens of His Kingdom, how are we to live? The answer is clear: “LOVE ONE ANOTHER.”
The “LOVE ONE ANOTHER” commands are the heartbeat of King Jesus and His Kingdom–it's an absolute requirement, especially to love ONE ANOTHER--but there is more. The “ONE ANOTHERS” of King Jesus are the constitution of His Snakeless Kingdom. This Kingdom is not marked by hierarchy, performance, or pride. It is marked by love, humility, and Spirit-led mutual submission. It is a Kingdom led by a bunch of truth-telling foot-washers.
Jesus said:
John 13:34–35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love ONE ANOTHER, even as I have loved you… By this all men will know that you are My disciples.”
“ONE ANOTHER” is not optional. In the Kingdom, love is the law. Grace is the supply. And Christ is the standard. Jesus came in Grace and Truth, and He gave us His full measure of both so that we can co-reign with Him, because we are IN HIM, in His Kingdom of Love. If you are not IN HIM, IN CHRIST, you are His enemy and mine. As such, I aim to love you!
Here's what life in the Kingdom looks like:
WE Love ONE ANOTHER
John 15:12 “This is My commandment, that you LOVE ONE ANOTHER, just as I have loved you.”
1 John 4:7 “Beloved, let us LOVE ONE ANOTHER, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.”
WE Serve ONE ANOTHER
Galatians 5:13 “For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love SERVE ONE ANOTHER.”
WE Honor ONE ANOTHER
Romans 12:10 “Be devoted to ONE ANOTHER in brotherly love; give preference to ONE ANOTHER in HONOR.”
WE Forgive ONE ANOTHER
Colossians 3:13 “Bearing with ONE ANOTHER, and FORGIVING each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.”
WE Encourage and Build up ONE ANOTHER
1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER and build up ONE ANOTHER, just as you also are doing.”
WE are at Peace with ONE ANOTHER
Mark 9:50 “Salt is good; but if the salt becomes unsalty, with what will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at PEACE with ONE ANOTHER.”
We Submit to ONE ANOTHER
Ephesians 5:21 “And be SUBJECT to ONE ANOTHER in the fear of Christ.”
WE Bear ONE ANOTHER’s Burdens
Galatians 6:2 “BEAR ONE ANOTHER’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.”
WE Confess your sins and pray for ONE ANOTHER
James 5:16 “Therefore, CONFESS your sins to ONE ANOTHER, and pray for ONE ANOTHER so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”
WE Teach and Admonish ONE ANOTHER
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and ADMONISHING ONE ANOTHER with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
This above is Kingdom culture. The world promotes and protects self—Jesus commands love. Can you dig it? I hope you can!
Jesus’s Clear Call to All His Disciples
Every one of Jesus’ commands is wrapped in an imperative: “DO THIS” The Kingdom life is not passive. It’s not about merely believing in Jesus—it’s about abiding in Jesus and living out His Word by the power of the Spirit. Jesus never called anyone to simply pray a prayer and wait for Heaven. He called them to:
WE Repent
Matthew 3:2 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
WE are BORN AGAIN
John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.’”
WE Preach the Kingdom
Matthew 10:7 “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’”
WE Do the WILL of the Father
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.”
WE Deny Ourselves
Luke 9:23 “And He was saying to them all, ‘If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.’”
WE Abide in His Love and WE Love ONE ANOTHER
John 15:9–17 “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. This I command you, that you love one another.”
This is the Kingdom lifestyle—not just waiting for Heaven but living in Heaven now–by God’s Grace working through Jesus’ love.
The Snakeless Kingdom Is Grown in Grace
Matthew 18:3 “Unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
The world exalts pride. The Kingdom exalts humility. The world chases riches. The Kingdom belongs to the poor in spirit.
Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
The world resists suffering. The Kingdom grows through it (Acts 14:22). The world rejects childlikeness. The Kingdom is only for the childlike.
Mark 10:14-15 “Let the children come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these… whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”
To enter Jesus’s Kingdom, you must surrender. To live in it, you must be filled with the Spirit and transformed by Grace. To display it, you must love like Jesus.
Luke 4:43 “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.”
Kingdom Now, Kingdom Forever
The Kingdom is both now and not yet. It is present in power (Mark 9:1), and it is coming in glory (2 Timothy 4:1). We live in the tension of “already but not yet.” And yet, even now:
- We have received a Kingdom that cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28)
- We are transferred from darkness into the Kingdom of the Beloved Son (Colossians 1:13)
- We are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6)
This is the Snakeless Kingdom—ruled by the Lamb, not the serpent. Fueled by Grace, not law. Overflowing with love, not fear.
What Must We Do?
Jesus calls every believer to seek first the Kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
Yield your life to King Jesus. Be born again by His Spirit. Abide in His love. Live the “ONE ANOTHER” life in Grace. Preach and demonstrate the Kingdom with power. Expect resistance—this Kingdom suffers violence. Yet, shine with love—this Kingdom is recognized by how we treat each other. Stay alert—the King is coming soon to reign forever.
Citizens of the Kingdom, Rise
We are not of this world. We are citizens of Heaven. Ambassadors of the King. Witnesses of the resurrection. Lovers of the brethren. Builders of Grace Homes. Disciples who make disciples.
The world is collapsing, yes it is–yet His Kingdom, our Kingdom, is unshakable.
The Kingdom of God is not a theory—He’s a living reality in those who are IN CHRIST. It’s a holy invitation to a new way of being human. A way of love, power, and unity. A Snakeless Way. A heavenly way.
So rise up. Preach the Kingdom. Live the Kingdom. Love ONE ANOTHER.
Matthew 25:34 “Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
Who is the Snake? The Enemy of the Kingdom
The snake is not a metaphor. He is a fallen being, real and cunning, who introduced sin and death through a single whisper in Eden: "Did God really say...?" (Genesis 3:1).
The serpent deceived Eve by causing her to question the absolute goodness of God. In doing so, Adam and Eve gave birth to self: self-consciousness, self-righteousness, self-reliance, and ultimately, separation.
From that moment, the snake's mission has remained the same: to deceive, divide, and destroy. He is the father of religion—systems of performance without presence, control without Christ, and rituals without relationship.
Satan today slithers behind pulpits, builds churches that look good on the outside but are filled with dead men's bones (Matthew 23:27), and promotes fear-based religion. Satan doesn’t mind if people are religious, as long as they are not loving one another or living in the power of Grace.
But in the Kingdom of God, the snake has no dominion. His head has been crushed by the finished work of Christ (Genesis 3:15), and we now tread upon serpents in the authority of Jesus (Luke 10:19).
The Ancient Enemy of the Kingdom
Genesis 3:1 “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.”
From the beginning, the snake has been the enemy of the Kingdom of God—the deceiver, the liar, the accuser. This serpent slithered into the Garden of Eden, not with a sword, but with a lie. He introduced doubt, distortion, and division. His weapon wasn’t force—it was subtle suggestion. His aim was clear: to make God’s children question the absolute goodness of their Father.
The First Lie: “God is Holding Out on You”
The serpent didn’t need to use violence. He used language. Words. Shadows of truth. A counterfeit narrative.
Genesis 3:1 “Indeed, has God said…?”
Genesis 3:5 “For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God…”
The core of the serpent’s deception was this: “God isn’t good.” He slandered God’s character and tempted Eve to believe that she was lacking something God was withholding.
This was the birth of self—the twisted counterfeit identity that arises when we believe God is not enough, and we reach out in independence, insecurity, and self-effort to make ourselves like God.
The Knowledge of Good and Evil: A Poisonous Gift
Genesis 2:17 “...of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat...”
God never intended for us to know evil—because evil is not to be known; it is to be avoided, rejected, and destroyed. Evil is not just immorality. Evil is anything outside the nature and will of God. It is unbelief in God's ABSOLUTE goodness. And Satan twisted the desire for wisdom into an open door for death.
Romans 5:12 “...through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin...”
The snake tricked humanity into trading trust for knowledge, relationship for religion, and Grace for self-effort.
Exactly Who Is the Snake?
Anything that does not align with God's plan, will, and purpose--the snake deviates and deceives. Scripture makes it crystal clear:
Revelation 12:9 “The great dragon... the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world...”
He is the deceiver. The divider. The liar. The guy who is trying to be the alternative to Christ… very close to being Christ, but not quite there–a good enough counterfeit to trick many into believing what is false.
John 8:44 “Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
The Snake Today - Religious and Respected
The snake hasn’t disappeared. He just changed his strategy. Today, the snake stands behind pulpits, wears tight jeans, holds titles, and quotes Scripture—just like he did when he tempted Jesus:
Matthew 4:6 “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down… for it is written…”
The devil knows the Word. He just doesn’t want you to know the Author of the Word. Satan today has deceived many through religion—a system of rules without relationship, traditions without truth, and rituals without resurrection power.
He uses:
Fear of separation
Fear of missing out (FOMO)
Guilt, shame, and manipulation
Self-righteous control and performance
Twisted “truths” that subtly deny God’s Grace
Satan doesn’t care if you’re religious. Satan prefers it—as long as you’re not living by Grace, not abiding in Christ, and not loving one another--satan is happy with you.
1 Corinthians 13:1 “If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.”
The Snake and the Counterfeit Church
Matthew 23:15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites... you travel around on sea and land to make one proselyte... you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.”
The counterfeit church is the perfect habitat for the snake—religion without real relationship, structure without surrender, leadership without the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It imitates the look of the Kingdom but denies its power.
2 Timothy 3:5 “...holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power...”
The Kingdom of God Is Snakeless
In Jesus Christ, the serpent’s head has been crushed. Jesus crushed it and continues to crush it every day.
Genesis 3:15 “He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise Him on the heel.”
Jesus is the second Adam—the Snake Crusher, the Truth Teller, Foot Washer, and the Grace Giver.
In His Kingdom:
There is no deception—only Truth.
There is no fear—only perfect Love.
There is no self-righteousness—only His Righteousness.
There is no striving—only Rest.
There is no religion—only relationship.
There is no snake—because the King reigns.
1 John 3:8 “The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.”
So, How Do We Get Snake-Free?
We follow the pattern of the cross and the resurrection:
CONFESS: Acknowledge your sins, weakness, your doubts, your attempts to fix yourself.
REPENT: Let Jesus renew your mind. Return to believing in the absolute goodness of God.
SURRENDER: Let go. Give up control. Trust the King.
REST: Abide in Christ’s finished work by Grace. Stop striving. Stop pretending.
BE THANKFUL: Live in radical gratitude because Grace has made a way back to Eden—without the snake.
Psalm 91:13 “You will tread upon the lion and cobra, the young lion and the serpent you will trample down.”
Jesus is the King of the Snakeless Kingdom. And in this Kingdom, every lie is unmasked, every shadow is exposed, and every serpent is silenced. Religion is replaced with a real relationship with Jesus. Fear is consumed by Love. And God’s children walk in Grace—together, loving one another, as Jesus commanded.
Fulfilling All The “One Anothers”
The culture of the Kingdom is defined not by rules, but by relationship. What exactly does that mean? God’s children are commanded, empowered, and expected to live out the "one another" Scriptures because this is how the world sees the evidence of the Kingdom.
John 13:34–35 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you... By this all men will know that you are My disciples."
- Love one another (John 15:12)
- Encourage and build one another up (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
- Forgive one another (Colossians 3:13)
- Bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2)
- Serve one another (Galatians 5:13)
- Be devoted to one another in honor (Romans 12:10)
- Be hospitable without complaint (1 Peter 4:9)
Living in the Kingdom means abiding in Christ and manifesting His character to others—His humility, His patience, His peace, and His kindness. The world will not be changed by religion but by His Grace, the visible love of Jesus expressed through His Body. ONE MUST KNOW JESUS LIKE A MAN KNOWS HIS WIFE. Knowing is knowing.
The Early Church - The True Pattern
The Early Church, as recorded in the Book of Acts and throughout the New Testament, was a living, breathing manifestation of the Kingdom. They were filled with the Spirit, devoted to one another, walking in signs and wonders, and giving as anyone had need (Acts 2:42–47).
There were no hierarchies, no denominations, no pulpits elevated above the people. There was only Jesus, the Head of the Body, and the power of the Holy Spirit flowing through surrendered vessels, truth-telling foot-washing servants who denied themselves and DIED. Literally died.
The Early Church obeyed Jesus’s ONE ANOTHERS. They discipled one another. They loved not in word only, but in deed and power. Their lives were a living testimony that Jesus was risen, reigning, and returning.
Today’s Apostate American Church
What happened? We traded the simplicity of devotion to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3) for man-made institutions. We elevated gifted communicators over humble shepherds. We exchanged the fire of the Holy Spirit for fog machines and corporate branding.
The American church has become a counterfeit church, one that mimics the form but denies the power (2 Timothy 3:5). Jesus warned us in Revelation 2–3 that many churches would drift into dead religion, and many have.
The counterfeit cannot be fixed. It must be forsaken. We must return to the original blueprint of the Kingdom.
The Church Built By the King’s Grace
God's plan has never changed: Jesus builds His Church (Matthew 16:18), and He does it by Grace alone.
Grace is God’s absolute goodness flowing into our lives through Jesus Christ. It is not a theory—it's a person, and He’s got plenty of power. It supplies everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Grace is the divine fuel of the Kingdom.
It is by Grace that:
We are saved (Ephesians 2:8)
We are transformed (Titus 2:11–12)
We are empowered to serve (Romans 12:6)
We are strengthened in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9)
The Church must be built, sustained, and led by Grace, not human talent, strategy, or control.
The Fullness of Christ
To be in the Kingdom is to be IN CHRIST.
Romans 8:1 "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
Being "IN CHRIST" means:
You are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17)
You are seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6)
You are blessed with every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3)
You are hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3)
In Him, you have everything. You are complete (Colossians 2:10). The fullness of the Kingdom is found in the fullness of Christ.
The True Meaning of “Church”
The word "church" is better understood as "assembly" or "gathering." It's not a building, denomination, or event. It is the called-out people of God assembling around Jesus.
Just like a stadium crowd gathers for a game, the Body of Christ assembles for the King. We don't go to church—we are the Church. And whenever we assemble in His name, He is there (Matthew 18:20).
Jesus never attended church. He assembled. So should we. We need to repent and seek God’s Grace at His Throne of Grace.
A Kingdom Without Shadows
This is the Snakeless Kingdom. A Kingdom of light. A Kingdom of Grace. A Kingdom where Jesus is King, the Church is His Body, and the Spirit empowers every believer to live in love, truth, and victory. In a snakeless kingdom, there are no enemies to love. I want that Kingdom, don’t you?
Let the snake have no foothold in our life. Let’s live in the light. Walk in love. Assemble with the saints. Love one another. Preach the Kingdom. Confess, repent, surrender, rest, and give thanks.
The Kingdom of God is not coming only with observation. It is within us (Luke 17:21). So, let it shine.
Come, Lord Jesus. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in Heaven.
A Prayer for the Wounded Shepherd, the Wounded Church, and the Wounded Us
Father of Mercy, God of all Grace,We come before You as one Body—broken, bruised, wandering, and weary. We come not to accuse, but to confess. Not to judge, but to weep. Not to divide but to unite. Because, Lord, we are in desperate need of you, our only Savior..
We’ve all worn the mask.
We’ve all performed to be seen.
We’ve all craved applause instead of Your presence.
We’ve all chosen image over intimacy.
We’ve all feared being exposed instead of rejoicing in being known.
So Father, in the name of Jesus, we confess.
We confess the pride, the insecurity, the manipulation, the fear, the self-reliance, the control.
We confess that we have used people instead of loving them.
We confess that we have feared man more than we’ve feared You.
We confess the times we’ve led without listening to Your Spirit.
We confess the sermons we preached without tears, without prayer, and without You.
Lord Jesus, we repent. Change our minds. Renew us with the mind of Christ. Wash us in Your Word. Wash away every false version of success. Tear down every idol we’ve built in Your name. Make us like You, Jesus—lowly, gentle, joyful, holy.
We surrender.
Every platform, every pulpit, every reputation, every stage.
Every fear of being forgotten. Every desire to be remembered.
We lay it all at Your feet, King Jesus.
You are the only Head of this Body. You are the only Rabbi, Teacher, and Shepherd.
You are the only One worthy.
We rest in Your finished work.
We cannot earn revival. We cannot manufacture transformation.
We rest in the wounds of Christ. We rest in the power of Your Spirit.
We rest in the promise that You will build Your Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail.
And now, Father, with trembling hearts and bold faith, we choose to be thankful.
Thank You for exposing us. Thank You for loving us enough to discipline us.
Thank You for revealing the snake, not to shame us, but to heal us.
Thank You that You do not discard broken shepherds. You restore them.
And finally Lord—we choose love.
We bless our enemies.
We pray for those who betrayed us.
We forgive the pastors who hurt us.
We forgive ourselves for the ways we have hurt others.
And we ask You: pour out Your love in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, so that we can be known not by our titles, not by our sermons, not by our buildings—but by our love.
Father, heal Your Church. Raise up true shepherds. Humble us, fill us, and send us.
We are Yours.
In the matchless, mighty, merciful name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
