What city did Jesus, Peter, Paul, John, and many others die serving? Remember, they believed Jesus was the King of Israel, and His rightful throne was in Jerusalem. Which nation and city did they serve? We have their written word; we know precisely how they felt about Israel and Jerusalem. As a follower of Jesus, I love what Jesus loves and hate what Jesus hates. Jesus loved Jerusalem and hated Babylon.

Isaiah 13:19 "And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the splendor and pomp of the Chaldeans, will be like Sodom and Gomorrah when God overthrew them."

We do not doubt how God sees Israel and Jerusalem. I say, REPENT and ask Jesus to give you a changed mind, the mind of Christ, a renewed mind SO THAT YOU CAN SEE HOW MUCH HE LOVED ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM—and join Him in that love.

Romans 11:25-26 "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part UNTIL THE FULL NUMBER OF THE GENTILES HAS COME IN, and IN THIS WAY ALL ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED. As it is written: 'THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION; HE WILL TURN GODLESSNESS AWAY FROM JACOB.'"

I will be honest with you. There is no debate inside me. I know what I am and who I am. I am a child of God–PERIOD. It happened BY GRACE. This means that Jesus did it all, from A to Z. He gave it all to you and me as a free gift.

Ephesians 2:4-10 "But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, MADE US ALIVE TOGETHER WITH CHRIST (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come HE MIGHT SHOW THE SURPASSING RICHES OF HIS GRACE IN KINDNESS TOWARD US IN CHRIST JESUS. FOR BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH; and that not of yourselves, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."

Jesus came to fulfill the Father’s plan of Salvation, the plan they devised before a single thing was created. Jesus came IN GRACE TO ESTABLISH THE TRUTH. He’s invited us to reign with Him for eternity!

John 1:14-17 "And THE WORD BECAME FLESH, and dwelt among us, AND WE SAW HIS GLORY, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH. John *testified about Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’ ” FOR OF HIS FULLNESS WE HAVE ALL RECEIVED, AND GRACE UPON GRACE. For the Law was given through Moses; GRACE AND TRUTH WERE REALIZED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST."

JESUS DID EVERYTHING BY GRACE. Jesus created the universe and everything in it by Grace. Jesus created life, all life. Jesus gave me life. He has also invited me to spend eternity with Him.

Revelation 19:7 "LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM, for THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB HAS COME AND HIS BRIDE HAS MADE HERSELF READY.”

As our bridegroom, Jesus asked me for my hand in marriage, and I said YES! Besides being a child of God, by His Grace, I am His Bride, and He loves me. Because of His Grace and goodness, I am one of those wise virgins with filled flasks of oil eagerly awaiting the Bridegroom’s appearance.

Revelation 21:2 “And I saw THE HOLY CITY, NEW JERUSALEM, COMING DOWN OUT OF HEAVEN FROM GOD, MADE READY AS A BRIDE ADORNED FOR HER HUSBAND.”

I believe THE WORD OF GOD and have received what Jesus promises, all to the glory of God. Jesus emptied Himself of His Divinity and came to earth as a man to save the world, including you and me. RECEIVE IT!

Ephesians 2:19 "So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household,"

Jesus’ intention and heart is to reconcile and restore man so that He can dwell with us as our Father and His children.

1 Corinthians 3:16 "Do you not know that YOU ARE A TEMPLE OF GOD AND THAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS IN YOU?"

Jesus suffered, died, was buried, and resurrected for me and you, as He justified all of us before the Father raised Him. We’ve been saved and justified by His Blood, and consequently, we receive our new citizenship in Heaven.

Philippians 3:20 "FOR OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN, FROM WHICH ALSO WE EAGERLY WAIT FOR A SAVIOR, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST;"

Jesus gave Himself up for us, and He paid the price we could not. Therefore, I love what Jesus loves, and I hate what Jesus hates. Jesus loves Israel, and He is the King of both Heaven and Earth. Jesus loves Jerusalem, where He is enthroned as the King of both Heaven and Earth. Jerusalem is the King’s Holy City, where God dwells with man.

John 1:11-12 "He came to that which was his own, BUT HIS OWN DID NOT RECEIVE HIM. Yet TO ALL WHO DID RECEIVE HIM, TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIS NAME, HE GAVE THE RIGHT TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD."

Bottom line… Jesus paid for your sins and mine, all wiped clean. As a child of God, I now love what Jesus loves, and I hate what Jesus hates. I love Jerusalem and hate Babylon.

Isaiah 21:9 "And behold, here come riders, horsemen in pairs!” And he answered, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the carved images of her gods he has shattered to the ground."

This change has happened within me through Grace. He changed me and transformed me by Grace. Jesus has called us all to FOLLOW HIM, SO I WILL. I have laid down my life for Jesus and His Holy City.

John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this: TO LAY DOWN ONE’S LIFE FOR ONE’S FRIENDS."

My point is that, as a child of God, I am also a CITIZEN OF HEAVEN, and Jesus is my Lord, Master, Savior, and King. I give my full allegiance to Jesus, the King of Israel, sitting on the throne of David in Jerusalem.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, HE IS A NEW CREATURE (past and present and future tense); the old things passed away; behold, new things have come (past and present and future tense). Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ (past and present and future tense) and gave us the ministry of reconciliation (it’s done, present and future tense), namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself (past and present and future tense), not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation (it’s done, present and future tense). Therefore, WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST (it’s done, present and future tense), as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf (past and present and future tense), so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (it’s done, present and future tense).”

As a citizen of Heaven, I have been called and chosen to be God’s Ambassador of reconciliation. Therefore, I love what Jesus loves, and I hate what Jesus hates. I see myself as a PIONEER OF HIS LEGACY. I am building upon the ROCK OF JESUS CHRIST, and it is promised that His fruit will remain.

Colossians 1:13 "For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

I ask you the same question regarding your chosen economic model, capitalism or socialism, or whatever… Do you have an economic model you are willing to die defending? Babylon’s model, or Heaven’s model? Do you even know the difference? If not, REPENT and get on your knees before God and pray like you’ve never prayed before! Ask for the Holy Spirit and the full revelation of Jesus Christ!
